Elevent furthers its presence in Toronto and throughout North America as it welcomes seasoned sponsorship executive Mark Lemmon as Chief Commercial Officer.
Mark’s role at Elevent will include the development of commercial partnerships across Canada as well as throughout both the US and European markets with focus on Elevent’s innovative sponsorship solutions inclusive of BrickRoad™, the sponsorship intake and management platform, and CakeMix™, the groundbreaking sponsorship valuation tool.
Mark has a solid reputation and extensive experience in the sport and sponsorship space. At Labatt Breweries of Canada, he held senior sales and marketing positions and spearheaded a number of national marketing initiatives, including Labatt brand partnerships with the NFL as well as the Toronto Blue Jays back-to-back World Series Championships in 1992/93.
Mark spent twelve years with the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club where he acted as vice-president of corporate partnerships & business development. He and his team developed key strategic alliances with leading brands such as Coca Cola, MasterCard, Home Hardware, Honda, Gatorade, Rogers, and HSBC.
Mark’s career then took him into the broadcast industry at CBC Sports where he created key strategic alliances between Canada’s top consumer brands and CBC Sports’ coveted sports properties: Hockey Night In Canada, FIFA World Cup, etc.
In 2014 Mark joined Rugby Canada where, as chief commercial & marketing officer, he led both the commercial and marketing teams of this quickly emerging national sport organization.
