Toronto teams’ fanbases

Since the last post on Canadian NHL teams’ fanbases, we thought we would share fanbase distribution findings for two of our other favourite major league sports teams from Toronto: the Raptors and the Blue Jays.

While one could assume their fan distribution might be much more spread out than for NHL teams since they are the sole team in Canada for their respective sports, the results show that this might not be the case after all.

Both teams find the majority of their fans in Ontario and show similar results as some Canadien NHL teams. They are still both more appealing to other Provinces than the Leafs are.
Keep in mind that these maps show geographical distribution of fans, but do not convey the size of each fanbase.
